About Myonova Bodywork
Myonova Bodywork was created for people who want thoughtful, attentive massage therapy that supports their body over time. Instead of chasing quick fixes, the focus is on helping the body release built-up tension, adapt to daily demands, and feel more supported in everyday movement.
Sessions are well-suited for those who notice stiffness, recurring discomfort, or the feeling that their body is always holding tension, even when there isn’t a specific injury.
My Approach to Chronic Pain Relief

Chronic pain often develops as the body adapts to stress, posture, and repeated movement over time. As the body compensates, certain muscles begin to do more work than others, which can create tension patterns that linger.
My approach starts with a brief postural and range-of-motion assessment to understand how your body is moving and where those compensations are coming from. From there, bodywork begins with the muscles that are contributing to the imbalance, even if they are not where pain is felt most strongly. Once those areas begin to release, work then moves into the area of discomfort itself.
This approach is informed by sports massage principles and focuses on how muscles, fascia, and movement patterns relate to one another. Techniques such as trigger point work, myofascial release, assisted stretching, and deeper therapeutic pressure are used as needed, guided by your feedback and how your body responds throughout the session.
What You Can Expect from Working Together
Massage therapy at Myonova Bodywork is a collaborative and communicative process. Each session is guided by how your body presents that day, with time spent checking in, adjusting pressure, and responding to how tissues change throughout the work.
Ongoing care is available for those who find benefit in regular sessions, helping address recurring tension and maintain a greater sense of physical ease over time. This is often helpful for people who spend long hours at a desk, stay physically active, or want to support their bodies as part of ongoing self-care.
